Erica Kahn is a San Diego-based director, choreographer, and teaching artist with a passion for musical theatre and new work. She holds a BA in Theatre with honors in Directing and a BA in Dance from UCSD. Erica believes strongly in advocating for the importance of the arts and hopes to increase awareness and appreciation for the arts throughout her career. She also runs a volunteer youth theatre group she co-founded, called Scripps Onstage, that aims to educate and provide opportunities for students to get involved in the arts and produce original works.
Erica is drawn to ensemble-based work and her strength lies in storytelling through movement. She has been directing and choreographing for over 12 years and currently works with various theatre and dance companies, schools, and educational arts programs around San-Diego including La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, SDMT, Moonlight, CCAE Theatricals, and more.
